Mr. Timothy E. Burke is a seasoned film producer and MTV Director having executive produced films with stars such as Jessica Alba, Oscar-winner Gary Oldman and Golden Globe & Oscar-winning actresses Meg Tilly, Chloë Sevigny and Natasha Lyonne amongst others. Tim is a two times panel host of 'Digital Hollywood' as he is in the very unique position of being both a film producer/director combined with over 10 years working with mobile, technology and blockchain companies. In 2019, Tim was interviewed by entrepreneur magazine with his partner Stan Larimer and SpaceQuest after processing the 'first blockchain transaction in space' in a bid to help eradicate extreme global poverty with their space-based blockchain project.
The actual concept came from the intergalactic space currencies in his sci-fi film franchise 'Planet X'. 'Planet X' is not just a movie franchise it is an epic entertainment ecosystem across Film, Gaming, Mobile, Metaverse and VR. In fact, pre-covid talks have begun to produce 'Planet X' with Marvel's Jeff Habberstad ("Doctor Strange", "Iron Man 3", "Captain Marvel"). Tim studied Film Directing at the Panico Film School, famous for teaching movie heavyweights; Terry Gilliam & Sir Ben Kingsley. After his days at MTV he worked with Universal Pictures, July Systems & Ericsson IPX, on a groundbreaking mobile campaign for Michael Mann's "Miami Vice" putting the first text short codes on outdoor movie billboards. Tim has organized high profile, celebrity attended charity events at Cannes; onboard mega-yacht 'Pegasus' with luxury concierge company, 'Quintessentially' attended by Bono, Kate Beckinsale and numerous celebrities that year....
Tim then ran Hollywood-based production hub 'MovieFund', where he was involved with many established producers and directors on projects starring actors such as Tom Hanks, Megan Fox, James Franco, Kate Winslet and projects such as Charlie Chaplin's last screenplay, "The Freak". Tim was also an executive producer on "Monster Party" produced by Brian KavanaughJones ("Sinister", "Insidious") bringing in his close friend and composer, Felix Erskine, from Calvary music who worked on "Star Wars", "The Batman", "Venom", "A Quiet Place". Today, he now combines his film industry network and years of knowledge on technology, blockchain and the movies to create psychological thriller horror "Feederville" and the Web3 entertainment masterpiece that will be "PLANET X" and the Movie Metaverse.- Tim Burke is known for White Collar (2009).
